MARY FARHI, MD, MPH, FACOG, ABIHM, ABOIM, NCMP, RYT
Dr. Farhi earned both her medical degree, as well as her masters in public health from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Farhi is double board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Integrative Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as board certified in Integrative Medicine by the American Board of Integrative Medicine. Further, she is certified by the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. She is currently completing her certification process by the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM.org). She completed her 200-hour yoga training at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts and her Mighty Body Band® (MBB) training through Yoga Bent in Highland Park, IL. She is a certified menopause practitioner from the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) and was selected in 2008 by the prestigious NAMS Research Affairs Committee as one of six medical practitioners to serve in the first class of NAMS mentees, supporting advanced research on menopause in North America. Dr Farhi has completed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Training for Practitioners with Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli, as well as Mindful Eating Training with Jan Chozen-Bays and Char Wilkens. Her focus in on incorporating integrative therapies using a functional medicine model, in order to assist patients in creating wellness and health. Her specialty is helping patient's achieve hormonal balance.
